Subtly stormy, this green-blue landscape is all about country living - a vast view of trees and paddocks, with a gorgeously grey/blue sky. Trawool in central Victoria is my local town, consisting of just a pub and hotel, and large beautiful green farms, like so many small towns in the area.

This painting was created with only a handful of acrtist-quality acrylic colours and many layers of pigment (some of which are translucent to give a beautiful soft effect), keeping the overall artwork vibrant and saturated, with moody dramatic darks, soft pale greens and greys, and lovely variations of colour and tone in between.

The canvas itself is very high quality, with strong stretcher bars in New Zealand kiln dried timber, and the cotton canvas is triple primed and quite thick at 380gsm. I only invest in top quality gallery-standard canvases for my art.

I have included some 'In situ' photos, which help us imagine art in our home. Feel free to reach out with pictures of your own space and I can virtually hang the painting for you. In situ photos provided here were created using various apps and may not be perfectly to scale. Photos depicting framed art are for illustrative purposes for your interest and consideration.
