“Forest Floor” intends to remark on the cycle of life in the Australian landscape. Fallen leaves and other natural debris are a part of the chain which ultimately nourishes the earth and everything on it, in an unending journey of birth, growth, death, decay, and regeneration.
 
This is an original artwork using beautiful artist quality oil paint on cotton canvas of the finest quality. It was created with just 2 colours plus black and white. The limited palette provides an endless array of skin tones, apricot, pink and mauve; gorgeous subtle browns and greys; a beautiful autumnal palette.
 
I have included photos of this artwork installed into a room with furniture. In situ photos were created using various apps and may not be perfectly to scale but should give you an idea of how your artwork might look. Where provided, pictures depicting framed art are illustrative only - just to give you an idea of how a beautiful timber frame might enhance the look of your painting.

Yes! I can add a Tasmanian oak floating frame in raw natural finish, for an additional cost. Simply make your selection and I shall provide an invoice for the additional cost.  Please allow 2-3 weeks for your custom frame to be built.
