The beauty of the Australian outback is absolutely beautiful when viewed from the air. This aerial landscape attempts to capture ribbons of rivers cutting through the dry landscape, with straight lines presenting roads.
 
Part of this painting was created with a paintbrush; the rest was created using less traditional tools including cotton buds, sponges and apple tree sticks.
 
This is two canvases which can be hung together or separately.
 
This artwork is vivid in colour and full of life - every mark has been deliberately applied with layers and points of interest throughout.
 
The edges of the canvases wrap around, so the composition starts to emerge as you approach from any angle and external framing is purely optional.
