Jewels in the Garden is inspired by the gum trees in my garden, set in beautifull turquoise, blue, pink, green and purple. I love painting from inspiration drawn from gardens, parks and nature-strips found in suburban streets all over Australia. It is a familiar sight, painted in a more abstracty composition, in artist quality acrylic colour.
The canvas itself is very high quality, with strong stretcher bars in New Zealand kiln dried timber, and the cotton canvas is triple primed and quite thick at 380gsm. I only invest in top quality gallery-standard canvases for my art.
I have included some 'In situ' photos, which help us imagine art in our home. Feel free to reach out with pictures of your own space and I can virtually hang the painting for you. In situ photos provided here were created using various apps and may not be perfectly to scale. Photos depicting framed art are for illustrative purposes for your interest and consideration.
