Jewels in the Garden is inspired by the gum trees in my garden, set in beautifull turquoise, blue, pink, green and purple. I love painting from inspiration drawn from gardens, parks and nature-strips found in suburban streets all over Australia. It is a familiar sight, painted in a more abstracty composition.

Having enjoyed a lifetime of creativity and expression, it’s no surprise Eve’s paintings are proving so popular with collectors. Eve captures the essence of the everyday gardens in our local neighbourhoods and parks, making her art relatable and unpretentious. She interprets her subject with sensitivity and love, and prefers the viewer “feel” rather than “see”.
Eve leads an unconventional life in her off-grid home in central Victoria with hubby, dogs and a gorgeously prolific vegetable garden and orchard, and spends most days at the easel.
