A large statement piece ideal for making an impact on your wall. Large dainty pale pink flowers and gum nuts set against a light-speckled green-blue background feature in this artwork. I adore Australian native trees, and beautiful gum trees like this line the highway near my local town. It would look great framed, however this is not absolutely necessary as the painting is ready to hang, right out of the box.
 
The edges of the canvas have been painted as “wrap around” which means that if it is hung in a hallway, you will start to see the scene emerge as you approach the art.
 
The painting can hung in portrait or landscape aspect and as such, please let me know which way you’d like it so I can sign the artwork and attach the wire appropriately before sending to you.
 
The canvas itself is very high quality, with strong stretcher bars and corner braces, and the cotton canvas is triple primed and quite thick at 450gsm. I only invest in top quality gallery-standard canvases for my art.
 
I have used artist quality acrylic colour for this painting, in numerous layers using dry-brushing and other techniques followed by fine lines and details.
