Colours have been both subdued and amplified in this large landscape painting featuring the Northern Territory. Bright saturated orange and red contrast against pastel grey and pink, with a stunning aqua-coloured watering hole. It is inspired by the gorges of central Australia which I visited many times while living at Glen Helen Homestead, west of Alice Springs, a few years ago.
This is an original painting which has been framed in natural raw oak.
