This painting is based on the view I get from my car when I drive to my local town (Yea) in central Victoria.  Trees adorn the paddocks, and fences falling manage to keep the sheep in.  All the while, the Goulburn River flows, dams fill and empty depending on the weather, and the rising sun casts the most magnificent morning glow over the entire region.  I love the rural life!

    ABOUT THE ARTIST

Having enjoyed a lifetime of creativity and expression, it’s no surprise Eve’s paintings are proving so popular with collectors. Eve captures the essence of the everyday gardens in our local neighbourhoods and parks, making her art relatable and unpretentious. She interprets her subject with sensitivity and love, and prefers the viewer “feel” rather than “see”.

Eve leads an unconventional life in her off-grid home in central Victoria with hubby, dogs and a gorgeously prolific vegetable garden and orchard, and spends most days at the easel.
