Stunning land; harsh and thirsty, with scrubby trees and a horizon that seems so far away it’s hard to see. This painting, based on my memory of the mallee country in South Australia, is part of my “30 days / 30 paintings” challenge (day 1). Feel free to follow my journey on instagram (eve.sellars) 😊

Having enjoyed a lifetime of creativity and expression, it’s no surprise Eve’s paintings are proving so popular with collectors. Eve captures the essence of the everyday gardens in our local neighbourhoods and parks, making her art relatable and unpretentious. She interprets her subject with sensitivity and love, and prefers the viewer “feel” rather than “see”.
Eve leads an unconventional life in her off-grid home in central Victoria with hubby, dogs and a gorgeously prolific vegetable garden and orchard, and spends most days at the easel.
