An expressive and impressionistic painting of flowers against greens and greys. This is actually based on my cyclamen plants, which have bloomed beautifully all through winter and have provided bright colour on drab cold days.
My garden is always so full of colour, and provides endless inspiration.
The canvas itself is very high quality, with strong stretcher bars and corner braces in New Zealand kiln dried timber, and the cotton canvas is triple primed and 450gsm. I only invest in top quality gallery-standard canvases for my art.
I have included some 'In situ' photos, which help us imagine art in our home. Feel free to reach out with pictures of your own space and I can virtually hang the painting for you. In situ photos provided here were created using various apps and may not be perfectly to scale. Photos depicting framed art are for illustrative purposes for your interest and consideration.
While this painting would look amazing framed, it’s not absolutely necessary. The artwork has been painted as wrap around, so the picture starts to emerge if you approach from the side (such as a hallway).
As it is an abstract painting, it is best viewed from a distance.
