A natural perspective of a familiar sight - red river gums grow majestically tall and slender in my area of the country. I had planned on warm greys for the leaves but ended up enjoying various shades between blue and green, with pink and yellow-green highlights.
It would look great framed, however this is not absolutely necessary as the painting is ready to hang, right out of the box. The edges of the canvas have been painted crisp white.
The canvas itself is very high quality, with strong stretcher bars and corner braces, and the cotton canvas is triple primed and very thick at 450gsm. I only invest in top quality gallery-standard canvases for my art.
I have used artist quality acrylic colour for this painting, in numerous layers followed by fine lines and details.
I have included some 'In situ' photos, which help us imagine art in our home. Feel free to reach out with pictures of your own space and I can virtually hang the painting for you. In situ photos provided here were created using various apps and may not be perfectly to scale. Photos depicting framed art are for illustrative purposes for your interest and consideration.
I hope you love my painting and will consider hanging this lovely scene on your wall.
