I am currently taking commission requests for art similar to my "Botanical & Birds" collection.
How commissions work....
> Send me an email at evesellars@hotmail.com with your idea - perhaps you like an existing work but would like it in a different size? Or maybe you'd prefer a different colour scheme?
> If your vision suits my usual style, ability and creative flair, and I have a canvas which matches your requirements, then we'll discuss next steps and pricing.
> Once we've agreed and you've given me the green light, I'll paint your idea and provide you progress photos as I get closer to the finish.
> Once completed, you have the option to either buy the art or not - it's up to you.
FAQs
Will you consider all requests?
I'd love to hear your idea - however I will only embark on a commission which aligns with my skill set, my creativity and the materials I have available.
Do you need a deposit?
No, I won't ask for a deposit. This takes the stress out of your pocket and my creative process.
Can you copy a photo?
First, show me the photo you have in mind - we can take it from there. Please note that you must own the copyright of the photo, and you must provide me with permission to copy it.
How long will my painting take to paint?
Usually a 4-week period is sufficient; but I'll let you know, and will keep you in the loop as things progress.
Do you offer discounts or promo-codes on commissioned art?
Unfortunately I do not offer any discounts on commissioned art.
What if I don't want to purchase the artwork?
I'll be disappointed of course! However, I am sure I can find a new home for my creation. There is no obligation from you to buy.
Do you offer returns/refunds on commission requests?
Unfortunately due to the nature of commissions, I do not offer returns or refunds once the artwork has left the studio.
Do you offer commissions to international collectors?
Yes! Please keep in mind that I prefer to use Australia Post, so if an artwork exceeds 140cm girth, it will be painted on loose canvas and rolled in a tube to be sent to you.
